Which halal certification body do you use?
Yes, all meals from Halal Ready Made Meals , are certified by HFVC – the Halal Food Verification Committee and / or The Muslim Centre of Islamic Society. Is the certification visible on the packaging?
Yes, all meals from Halal Ready Made Meals, have very clear and visible branding to show the halal certification on the front of the packs. For our packs for IPAS and immigration centres as well as food service, these meals also can very clearly branded Halal labels as well. Are all ingredients halal, including flavourings, stocks, and additives?
Yes, all meals from Halal Ready Made Meals, are 100% certified. Unlike some companies we fully understand the halal certification process and that it is not just the meat content, but also the other ingredients, equipment and the environment the halal meals are cooked and prepared are also required to be halal certified. Do you use halal‑certified suppliers for meat and poultry?
Yes, all meals from Halal Ready Made Meals, are prepared using meats and ingredients from 100% halal certified facilities. All our red meats come from a halal certified facility just outside Dublin in Ireland and the white meats such as chicken come from halal certified producers in Holland or Poland. . Is your kitchen fully halal, or do you operate in a mixed facility?
Yes, all meals from Halal Ready Made Meals, are produced in a halal kitchen, our team are fully trained, we use halal specific equipment and also hold BRC certification grade AA as well.
How do you prevent cross‑contamination with non‑halal foods?

Where do you source your meat and poultry?
Yes, all meals from Halal Ready Made Meals, have the meats sourced from fully certified halal suppliers in Ireland and mainland EU. Our red meats are halal certified in Ireland and the white meats, poultry are certified within the EU mainly Holland and Poland. Are your ingredients fresh, frozen, or a mix of both?
Yes, all meals from Halal Ready Made Meals, are prepared using a mixture of fresh and frozen ingredients, depending on the meal. All the ingredients are of high quality and sourced as locally as possible, keeping in mind supply constraints and price. We do are best to balance this in order to provide you with a high quality and affordable meal, that you will want to eat regularly. Are your meals healthy and balanced?

The meals have been designed to be healthy as possible and at the same time to be packed fully of flavour and quality. Do you offer low‑calorie or high‑protein halal options?
Yes, all meals from Halal Ready Made Meals, have a range of high protein meals suitable for gym users and those taking GLP1 medication or following weight loss diets. These meals are available on request. If we make a health claim such as High Protein , we back these up with lab results from 3rd party certified labs. Are your meals suitable for people on weight‑management plans or GLP‑1 medications?
Yes, we work with a number of brands that work in this field. Are meals are in smaller portion sizes for people on GLP1 medication, they are nutrient dense and we have worked on the protein and fibre content of each meal. We are not medics – but have done all we can to ensure that the meals from The Halal Food Company are suitable for those on weight loss plans and GLP1 Medication. Are allergens clearly labelled on the packaging?

How long do your meals last in the fridge?

How long do they take to heat, and can I heat them in the tray?

Do you produce halal meals for 3rd parties?
Yes, we are happy to discuss the production of halal certified meals for 3rd parties in Ireland, UK and EU. Any projects we are involved with the 3rd party partner needs to arrange the certification with ourselves or another body and are responsible for the product sleeves. Do you have Halal meals for IPAS and immigration?
Yes, the team at Halal Ready Made Meals are more than happy to work with IPAS centres and immigration centre in Ireland and the UK to provided halal certified meals in both individual meal portions or multi meal portions. Do you have Halal meals for schools and colleges?
es, the team at Halal Ready Made Meals have developed a wide range of meal solutions for schools and colleges. Within Ireland the meals have been developed to comply with the Irish Free School Meals program where they meet the nutrition and health requirements of the program. In the UK are range of meals also meet the UK government and council school meals program requirements. Do you have Halal meals for healthcare?
Yes, the team at Halal Ready Made Meals, believe that there meals are suitable for the health care setting, and we already supply a number of HSE sites as well as staff catering units withing the health care settings. Where do you supply your halal meals Ireland, UK, EU?
Our range of halal certified meals are available in both retail and food service formats. In Ireland the meals are all available thru Costcutter branches as well as Fresh - The Good Food Supermarket in Dublin as well as local Centra branches. Our food service ranges for wholesalers, staff catering , school catering, vending – are all available direct from ourselves. Do you supply halal meals to event caterers?
Yes, we are happy to supply meals to other event catering and outside catering companies for events where they are not able to provided halal certified meals. What type of meals our in your halal range?
We have one of the most extensive halal ranges of meal solution in Ireland and the UK. We are the only known company to supply halal certified meal solution in both retail – individual pack formats and multi pack formats for food service.
